You Don’t Need Another Opinion — You Need Clarity

When teens and young adults feel stuck about what’s next, it’s rarely because they lack ability or ambition. It’s because they’ve never been given the space — or the tools — to truly understand themselves before being asked to decide.

That uncertainty creates stress, self-doubt, and pressure — for both teens and parents. And too often, families are forced to “figure it out as they go,” after time and money have already been spent.

That’s the gap LaunchForward Coaching exists to fill.

Why LaunchForward Coaching Exists

I Created LaunchForward Coaching Because I Know What It’s Like to Take a Winding Path.

Hi, I’m Christina Drymon, PhD—and I didn’t follow a straight, traditional path. I started at community college, explored different directions, and eventually found my footing through higher education, psychology, and social work.

What I learned along the way wasn’t just academic — it was deeply human.

I saw firsthand what happens when young people are rushed into decisions without clarity:

  • The stress and self-doubt that builds when you don’t know if you’re on the right path

  • The pressure to “just pick something” before you’re ready

  • The cost—emotionally and financially—of starting over later

But I also saw something else: How powerful it is when someone feels understood and supported in discovering their own direction — instead of being told what they should do.

That insight now shapes everything we do at LaunchForward Coaching.

My Mission:

I created LaunchForward so teens and young adults don’t have to learn clarity the hard way.

So they can choose with confidence—not pressure.

So families can support without stress.

And so no one has to waste years or tens of thousands of dollars figuring out what they could have known upfront.

This Isn't About Pushing College, Trades, or Any Single "Right" Answer

LaunchForward Coaching is about helping teens and young adults:

Understand their strengths—what they're naturally good at and what energizes them
Recognize what actually matters to them—not what sounds impressive or pays well
Explore real options—without pressure or judgment
Make decisions they can stand behind—so they move forward with confidence, not second-guessing

The Result?

Teens who know themselves, trust their decisions, and move forward with clarity and momentum.

Parents who feel confident they're supporting the right choice—without constant worry or tension.

Families who avoid the costly mistakes most make: changed majors, wasted time, and starting over.

This Is Coaching Grounded in Compassion—and Professional Rigor

As a PhD-trained social worker with years of experience in research, mentoring, and ethical practice, I bring a level of professionalism and care that many coaching spaces lack.

At LaunchForward, families can expect:

🔒 Clear boundaries—this is a safe, structured space
🔒 Confidentiality—what we discuss stays between us
🔒 Evidence-informed methods—not guesswork or generic advice
🔒 Ethical, developmentally appropriate support—designed for where your teen is right now

Here's What That Means for You

You're not hiring someone who's "figuring it out as they go."

You're working with someone who has the training, experience, and frameworks to guide your teen through this critical decision—with clarity, care, and confidence.

How We Help Teens Go From Stuck to Clear in 8 Weeks

Every teen we work with moves through a thoughtful, structured process designed to replace uncertainty with clarity:

Phase 1: Self-Discovery - We help students understand who they are—their strengths, values, interests, and what actually motivates them. Not what they think they "should" care about—what they actually care about.

Phase 2: Exploration - Together, we explore aligned possibilities, expanding their view of what's possible beyond default paths. Not every teen needs college. Not every teen needs a trade. We explore what fits them.

Phase 3: Planning - We create a clear, realistic roadmap with next steps that make sense for them—not a vague "follow your passion" plan. Actionable. Specific. Achievable.

Phase 4: Launch - Students leave with:

Confidence in their decision
Decision-making skills they'll use for life
The ability to move forward without fear, pressure, or second-guessing

The Bottom Line

By the end of 8 weeks, your teen will have clarity, a plan, and the confidence to execute it. No more guessing. No more stress. No more wasted time.

You Don't Have to Be the Constant Worrier—Or the Unintentional Pressure Source

As a parent myself, I understand the weight of wanting to support your child—without pushing, fixing, or steering them in the wrong direction.

You want to help. But you're not sure how. You don't want to hover. But you also don't want them to make a costly mistake. You're tired of tense conversations about the future—and the silent worry that keeps you up at night.

Here's What LaunchForward Gives You

A neutral, expert-guided space where your teen can figure things out—so you don't have to be the one constantly asking, "So, what's the plan?"

A process that helps them gain clarity on their own terms—so they feel ownership over their decision (and you feel confident supporting it).

Peace of mind that you're doing everything you can to help them get it right the first time.

The Truth?

You can't force clarity. But you can create the conditions for it. That's what LaunchForward does—and that's why it works.
