Your kid doesn’t need another “What do you want to do?”
An 8-week small group for teens and young adults, ages 15 to 21, who don’t know what’s next. Five seats. Starts Thursday, October 15.
Join our 8-week program instead. Not a commitment. I’ll send you the details and a link to book a free Clarity Call.
You already know how the conversation ends.
You ask what they're thinking about for next year. They say "I don't know." You push a little. They shut down. You back off, because pushing has never once worked.
So you wait a few weeks and try again, slightly differently, and get the same result.
Here's what's actually happening. The shutdown isn't refusal. It's not having an answer and being asked anyway. Your kid has nothing to say, and the question demands that they say something. Going quiet is the only move available.
The question is the problem. Not your kid.
WHAT FAMILIES WALK AWAY WITH
They know themselves better.
Their strengths, their values, what actually interests them. What motivates them, and what drains them.
01The hard conversations at home stop ending in arguments.
Money. College. What comes next. Families start talking instead of debating.
02A 6- to 12-month plan they built themselves.
Not one I handed them.
03Birkman results they keep for life.
A real read on how they're wired, that they can come back to at 20, at 30, at any crossroads.
04Practice trying things, not just researching them.
They reach out to someone doing the work. They visit the campus. They test an option in the real world instead of reading about it online.

HOW THE EIGHT WEEKS WORK
Eight 1.5-hours weekly meetings on Zoom or Meet. October 15 through December 10, with Thanksgiving week off. We set the weekly meeting time with the group once seats are filled.
Each participant takes the Birkman assessment before week one. We go through the results with a certified Birkman consultant between weeks 2 and 3, and parents are in that conversation too.
Weekly between-meeting assignments, 1-2 hours, to apply the materials discussed during the group.
Each week builds on the last. Strengths, values, interests, then real options to test. They finish with a 6- to 12-month plan they built themselves. Not one I handed them.
What one parent said after her daughter finished.
"Before, a conversation about Nora's future was a tense interaction that centered on indecision and usually ended up in an argument. With our follow up discussions we were able to discuss rather than debate and fight."
Bridget, mom of Nora. Completed the 8-week program, July 2026
Hi, I’m Christina Drymon, PhD
I was the first person in my family to go to college. No roadmap, no one who had done it before me. I have a PhD in Social Work and fifteen years researching why people get stuck.
None of that is what makes this work. What makes it work is that I'm not their parent. I don't come with the history or the hopes or the fear of letting anyone down, so the same sentence lands differently coming from me.
I coach teens and young adults ages 15 to 25 one-on-one. This group is for ages 15 to 21.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this therapy? No. This is forward-focused coaching. We work on direction, not diagnosis.
What if my kid doesn’t want to do it? Reluctance is normal. Most of them are. We'll talk about it on the Clarity Call, and I'll tell you honestly if it's the right fit.
Why does enrollment close October 8? Your teen or young adult needs to complete the Birkman assessment before the first session.
What if the timing doesn’t work? Fill out the form anyway. The next group starts in January.
Why a small group? Five people, no more. Small enough that nobody hides. Big enough that they hear how other people close to their age are thinking about the same questions.
Someone else in the room will say the thing your kid was thinking and didn’t know how to put into words.
What does it cost? I’ll walk you through the investment on the Clarity Call, once we both know it’s a fit.
